By participating in lessons with Snow Sports Unlimited, you agree to adhere to these safety practices to ensure a secure experience for yourself and others on the slopes.
- Trained Instructors: All of our instructors are certified and follow industry standards to ensure safety during lessons.
- Appropriate Gear: Participants are required to wear proper safety gear, including helmets and appropriate clothing, to protect against injuries and cold weather conditions.
- Lesson Safety: Follow all instructor guidelines, and be aware of your surroundings at all times while on the slopes. Make sure to communicate any discomfort or concerns during the lesson.
- Weather Conditions: Always check weather conditions before heading out to the slopes. Extreme weather can increase risk, and it’s important to adhere to any weather warnings issued by resorts or instructors.
- Control and Awareness: Always maintain control of your speed and be aware of other skiers and snowboarders to avoid collisions.
- Yielding: Yield to those ahead of you on the slope, as they have the right of way. When merging or starting from a stop, look uphill and yield to others.
- Stopping: Avoid stopping in narrow spots or where you cannot be seen from above.
- On-Site First Aid: In case of an injury, immediately notify your instructor or nearby staff. First aid assistance is available at all participating resorts.
- Emergency Contacts: Familiarize yourself with the emergency contact numbers provided by your resort, and make sure someone in your group knows how to reach ski patrol.

- Fill out and sign the appropriate Waiver Form before beginning lessons.
- Report any pre-existing medical conditions to instructors.
